dogs-n-natives 1,182
we have it on my estate too. we have rangers employed to catch all greys. the poxs virus kills reds in 14 days of infection this one had only a day or two to live.we have been given goverment grants for 100 catch alive traps and peanuts to try to get on top of the greys of wich we dont have that many but the few we have are infected with the virus. all greys should be killed on site They will supply any ammount of traps to cover the areas of woodland you cover, and also will give a grant of 32 quid per acre of woodland. I do a few myself, but were reds and greys here, so its all go... But the bad thing is, not all farms are doing there bit and therefore the greys will continue to spread etc, losing battle really
stealthy1 3,964
One good reason to get out and shoot more grey's in that area.
