wildhorse 1
Hi know who ur on about and in my view the chessie should never have been bought for him he should have stuck with his labs Anyway he is doing the chesie no favours at all by keeping them seperate he will only make the problem worse. Back to Basic Obedience and who the master is in the house the black lab has pissed the chessie of in some way probably over food or pestering her when she was in season ! You know our 2 chessies and they will get along with any dog {until there is something been shot and god help any thing/one who comes near it/them}. My chessie plays with all the dogs that come to my kennels and when he has had enough of them he will walk away no aggresion AT ALL then again it all goes back to Basic Obedience and him knowing that I'm the boss not him. Our chessie bitch is the same. Sadly a chessie in the wrong/weak hands is a very confused peake. He needs to start from scratch with his training and let the chessie know that he {and he alone} is her master and at the end of the day the dogs will find their own pecking order {as long as owner is at the top of it } but keeping them seperate is only making the problem worse. Blakloks 5
if they cant be in the same room as one another how can you not seperate em? Quote Link to post
ferreter.al 22
i may be wrong but just let them fite it out, like the other guy said, they will sort out their own pecking order.my sister has two vizlas that she just lets run wild like children,no master at all,she woant hear it thow, but some people are like that, anyways the bitch vizla is like that with my old collix,i usually just leave them to it,but thats just me Quote Link to post
