ajb 0
not wanting to spend a lot of money on manufactured special loft poles - anybody got any suggestions? Quote Link to post
the Verminator 0
once when i went out i wanted to loft some pigeons but didnt have the poles, so i just found a huge stick and put them up with that. you could do the same or get a decent length of hazel for the job. just makesure that you can fit your decoys on top, may require a nail in the end or something to keep the deeks on. Guest ESS
i use drain rods with a kitchen funnel attached to the end.but a note of caution too many rods you cant get it up straight or if you do get get up its goes all floppy and the decoy falls out Quote Link to post

happy larry 3
get yourself a cheap 8/9 metre fishing pole, unscrew the base, remove the last section and re insert it upside down, thus eliminating the whip effect.after you have inserted a hook in the decoys back, just push a decoy on the pole and position the decoy on the outer branches of sitty tree Quote Link to post
