Lofting

Recommended Posts

once when i went out i wanted to loft some pigeons but didnt have the poles, so i just found a huge stick and put them up with that. you could do the same or get a decent length of hazel for the job. just makesure that you can fit your decoys on top, may require a nail in the end or something to keep the deeks on.

i use drain rods with a kitchen funnel attached to the end.but a note of caution too many rods you cant get it up straight or if you do get get up its goes all floppy and the decoy falls out

get yourself a cheap 8/9 metre fishing pole, unscrew the base, remove the last section and re insert it upside down, thus eliminating the whip effect.after you have inserted a hook in the decoys back, just push a decoy on the pole and position the decoy on the outer branches of sitty tree
