Lightforce lamp

Recommended Posts

I have a lightforce striker 170 with a cigar plug end, but my battery has a jack plug socket for the lamp to go into :cry: Is there such a thing as a female cigar socket to jack plug adapter? I have searched the net and cant find any? Plenty of parts with the cigar plug end but thats not what I need  So, do I have to take the wires apart and join a jack plug? Thanks in advance.

I got mine free Acid but Maplin sell them too. I have them on all my lamps, batts and made a loom so I can run the lamps from the car too. I really don't know why the manufacturers bother with them crappy bullet and jack connectors

Most probably if you cant sort the wiring etc out yourself then youll buy another one, its aint too hard, there are a few threads about the wiring.

The really stupid thing is that they give an after sales service, so they have to fork out for that themselves.

Make up a loom yourself If they don't sell them. Or chop both connectors off and get some of these on. You won't have these pulling off all the time like the bullets or jack plugs.
