Parriss 0
Hello Everyone, I came across this site and wondered if anyone could give me some tips on a gift. I have collected around £300 to buy my boss a retirement gift. The only thing we know he enjoys is hunting (birds I believe). I thought it might be nice to buy him some binoculars but I do not know where to start! He is quite a frugal but wealthy man so if £300 is not enough and someone like that would probably have a pair worth twice that, perhaps someone could suggest something else? Hope you can help! Get the best compact pair you can for the money. Go to a proper optical shop, not Currys or Dixons and tell them his requirements. Get what they say is best for his requirements for the money. He'll be pleased you've researched his needs if he's so rich! Cheers, D. Quote Link to post

mj robson 8
For that price you will get a good pair of mid sized bino's of good quality. Have a look at Minox, Steiner, Optolyth or Eschenbach. You may just about have enough for some of the top end stuff in a compact, Look at Leica, Zeiss or Swarovski. Mark. Quote Link to post
