Fill the new filter with clean diesel before screwing on. A lot of engines also have a manual pump, located on the top, or very near the filter, give this a few presses if it has one, when all is secured, turn the engine over, and rev the bugger, dont let it die, because if their is air in the line, it will try to, if your revving it hard, it will pull it through.

When you say "manual pump" do you mean the re-priming pump? the van has one of these.

 

Lets hope i get a few more MPG after changing this..... Oil filter & Oil Change comign shortly.

 

I hate giving money to mechanic's if i can do it myself :D
