Guest tewkesferreter Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 theres a difference between biting and mouthing,its not hard to get it to stop mouthing. when your mum picks it up is she making jerky movements? if so thats probably whats causing the ferret to mouth. pick it up with your hand round the back of its neck and your fingers round its throat firmly but not to hard then just run your hand around it from top to bottom,it should then go limp,do this as often as possible. tbh it shouldnt take anymore than a couple of days before its properly handleable.
