Hello

How many of you call into a shotgun? Whislt I was in Canada I called a few yotes in to the shotgun,to about 15 yards.I was shooting an old single barreled 12g which adds to the fun because you have to make sure you hit it right and you only get the one chance.I called a pack in to the shotgun which was good fun,I'm looking to call some foxes over here into the shotgun.I dont have a rifle over here,In Canada I was shooting a .243,and a friends .22 250 which is handy for reaching out to them when they are call shy but its definatly more of a buzz when you get them in real close, plus field size over here is not quite what it is over there so shooting something of that power maybe wouldnt be needed so much.I think if you were set up calling in the right place over here, you'd have some good results with a shotgun.Another plus to a shotgun is its the perfect gun for fur ,and i tanned everything i shot.rifles more often than not leave the big holes on one side or another but a shotgun will be un-noticable and requires no stitching when tanning.I shot the yotes with no.5's on a full choke. I'd be interested to hear if anybody else calls to a shotgun regular? I've got a few pictures if any one is interested.

Hello

Here's a couple of pictures,I have some more i just need to get them onto my computer ,i'll try asap.I didnt mention I only call in the day,the reason is ,when your on your own its alot easier ,you dont have to work a lamp, but the main reason is coyotes are very weary animals, and light spooks them very easily. This coyote i called in to 15-20 yards, using a rabbit/hare distress,i stopped him with a squeek when he was close enough and hit him square in his chest,he didnt go far. I was laid behind the bump in the background and was calling out all the area up to the hills in the background.

Here is one that was taken with the .243 as he houldnt come in ,he was a little smaller than the rest shot. And the final pictures is just of the equipment they carry! dog killers!
