pigeon calls?

hi guys im an airgunner and had a catalog sent through from uttings.com the other day i was just wondering if a pigeon call would help lure the pigeons to the trees any comments welcome thanks gaz

never used a pigeon call mate and dont know anyone that has. i'd try some full body decoys lofted in the trees of a roosting wood and get in position below them.

when ever i have come accross pigeons i have never heard them cooing to each other, so i cant see how i can work. the only time i hear them call is when there in my garden lazing about (unfortunatly if i shoot a garden woody my mum would kill me). and then its normaly in spring when they are mating.

i can do oe on my hand and in the canary islands where they ahve loads of doves i can call them within yards

the hand held calls are C**p same as all the others have said have not worked and I have tried with about 20 lofted birds and a small Welshman trying to C OO C OO C OO under the tree have tried it a few times and not had more sport that when I have just waited.
