eagle 3
Anyone wondering how a "Record" trigger works, may take a closer look here. Picture no. 1 shows the position (close up at approximately 2x power) of the sear no.2 (top) and sear no. 3 (down) when the gun is cocked (loaded) but the trigger is not touched yet. Picture no. 2 shows the new position of sear when you have pulled the trigger to the point of release. The tiny overlap left between the sear(s) at this stage, tells you the reason why the "Record" trigger is known to have a clean crisp let off, that can bee adjusted to almost no creep at all. If you by some reasons do not want to proceed, the trigger unit may also let you safely decrease the pull at the trigger blade, because the sears then will slide back into the safe position as shown in picture no. 1. And so you can start over again many times, if you want. All Weihrauch Air Guns with the designation "S" is equipped with the "Record" trigger unit. The trigger unit delivered with some AA air guns (TX200) operates at the same manner. I hope both the description and my English are understandable since my knowledge in the English language is limited. Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Interesting. Always been a top bit of kit. As for your use of the English language, you've put a few folks on here to shame. Quote Link to post
eagle 3
Thanks andyfr 1968. Originally I planned to add one more picture of the trigger unit, but the pictures was too many k.bytes combined. Quote Link to post

eagle 3
Yes it should be. Just behind the trigger itself, there are an adjusting screw. Normally the trigger blade and the adjusting screw are "silvery" in appearance. The HW models without the "Record" trigger unit are blackish in appearance. The trigger pull are also considerably heavier. The picture shows only a little part of the unit, but I think you may be able to see if "your" trigger looks like this. Quote Link to post
