diggermad 154 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Share Posted March 1, 2009 hi my lurcher bitch had her first run at a long eared rabbit today but called her back after 200 yards straight back to me and was well chuffed she stopped straight away and turned back to me dont want to spoil her as she has just turned 6 months did i do the right thing to stop her from chasing it cheers DM Quote Link to post

darrell jnr 16 Posted March 2, 2009 Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 in my opinion ya certainly did do the right thing mate.6 months olds far to young mate.bones are still growing... give her a few bunnies to chase and concentrate on her training fella .ya got plenty of time yet for hunting proper..all the best charlie..darrell.
