Rolfe 2
I was out setting mole traps this morning alongside a church wall in a large garden when i came across this rabbit half buried by old Charlie. He knew where to put it as there were graves just the other side of the wall.......he perhaps thought it would go unoticed I scraped some of the soil from it to get a better picture as only the feet were visible. I often find the odd rabbit leg stashed in a mole hill but this was an almost complete fresh rabbit. Funny thing was.......just yesterday i was ferreting in the same garden and had 17 rabbits from a huge rockery.......i wonder if he had dug one out from a ferret kill?. Quote Link to post

gnipper 7,004
I've only ever found rabbit skins and bones from a fox on top of the ground but find plenty of pheasant and partridge buried. Cock phessies are easiest to find with their tails sticking up like flags Quote Link to post
