I have and have had an seemingly endless supply of venison, now the question is can I be giving my dogs too much?

They still get a good balanced diet, rabbit, tripe, veg, left overs, waist live stock, complete bisquit etc, but at the moment they are trying to eat there way through a forest of spare Deer and while its there I'm trying to use it. All the best bits are going to market before any one asks, the bits that I have are necks, cages, damaged legs, lights, hearts etc, stuff not for human consumtion.

I have a chest freezer and two under counter freezers but at this time of year they are full up ;) , so is it ok for a short while to feed them so much?

Guest little lurcher

can be very rich tbh, do you feed it raw or cooked???

if cooking add a bit of rice to the mix, still got the bulk but will draw out some of the richness, can give them the squits if fed too much , or if feeding raw then feed every 3rd day?

Alright LL, I am trying not to feed them too much but its the company I keep and its to hard to turn it away. I'm having no problems with their turds, I think their stomachs are used to it. I just wondered if it can cause any health problems, a bit like if we ate too much red meat.

Its all raw bones and all, every 3 days sounds good.
