ferretgirl 0
I've been looking at some online shops at buying all the stuff needed to make my own purse nets............but I have a question...... What's best......hemp? nylon?? or spun nylon??? or maybe something else that I haven't seen yet???? Quote Link to post
SwissTony 0
Spun polyester is good, John Hubery and Mole Catcher on here sell it very cheaply. I made 14 and a half 4ft shaped nets out of one roll of Johns yarn. If you need any other help and can't find it on here, bung me a PM and I will try to help Quote Link to post

craftycarper0122 1
i started making my own nets about 2 weeks ago. i learnt off the link that was in the frequently asked questions at the top of the ferretin section(not sure its still there but i'm sure someone will post it for you if you ask), i am extremely happy with the nets i've made so far and touch wood i've only had 1 rabbit spin them so far , so dont be put off just because you've never made them before, its not 2 hard Quote Link to post
craftycarper0122 1
forgot to mention, i use hemp but i would suggest dipping them in shed or fence preservative as they a prone to rotting when wet Quote Link to post

bramble 0
If you dry your hemp nets after use then there's no chance they will rot and no need to dip them in preservative. Quote Link to post
