getting hound fit

hi folks got saluki x hound 14 myhs old just been lamped and had run few times on bigger bunnies then left him off for bout a month any suggestions whats the best way i could get this dog fit for bigger bunnies what routine could i do

long walks, bike rides with the dog running next to you. Lamping rabbits very often and then try for the bigger ones all the best ollie

Bike work is good, you can build up to 6 miles in under an hour ,but youv'e left it a bit late haven't you ? Couple of weeks its all over.

I walk/work mine everysingle day,, from lunchtime till dark,,, and a bit of road walking keeps them in top form.

i bike mine their luv it but make sure 2 giv them a days rest after each ride out

End of the day to train for a fight you have to have fight?!. I said this to a lad on this site that asked how/why my 1st x Whippet/Greyhound was good at the big ear stuff. MRD

i tie a teddy to the back off the quad and drive around they feild about 2o times!
