thepriest 0
I talk to a lot of peole that i have known for a long tme and in general most of them cant even remember their first day at school etc. I think i may be an acception as i can recall my older sister walking me up the kitchen as a tot learning to walk, And my old mum tells me i was walking at 11 months. I can also remember sitting in an old red pram in the rain and me mum taking me shopping. Is it only me or are there other people that recall being that little? Back Stabbath 1
I can remember when I was about 2, being in my nanny's parlour, green walls, looking at ornaments. Then my mam and Nanny came to get me, went into the porch and we must have left. I can also remember when I was 3 or 4, running down the back plot at my nannys old house (used to live there), on a sunny day. The grass had been cut and there were haybales all around. I was racing against my cousins, and one of my cousins said "last one to the fence is a rotten egg". That same day, one of my aunties went to the shop and bought us all a red ball each. (lmao, it sounds like it was back in the old days!) Good times. They were really good times. All the cousins were still kids, I loved Nannies old house. Then she sold it (before the price boom, gutted!), and the people that bought it changed it and built an extension. Ruined it! I can also remember being in a navy pram, my nanny used to walk into town with me in it, I was about 2 or 3 at the time! I can remember Nanny and I talking to someone beside a grey wall at the time. Oh I can also remember walking with my cousins and our mams up the road, by the stream. (At Nannies house). My cousin had red dye in her hair and I asked her about it and she said she dyed it. I remember that I had not heard the term "dyed" before. I can also remember all the things my brother did to me - came out of the house with a spoonful of mustard and told me it was custard and got me to eat it, I started crying. He also told me that if you stood on a pothole and someone opened a door while you were standing on it, the pot hole would open up and you would fall into it! In our house in westhill park then later, I remember my brother banging my head off a glass table, me absolutely bawling and him running away!!
