moocherboi 8 Posted February 19, 2009 Report Share Posted February 19, 2009 hi . me and my cuz are begginers on terrier work .. im 19 my cuz is 21. wer from gravesend kent.. i have a patterdale terrier he is 9months old . would anybody be willing to show us the ropes . and help me out on entering my dog .. would be great if we could join someone on some digs to get the experience that goes for the dog aswell .. thanks evryone .. hi, first thing is i like look your dog. how is he bred?? im 19 and i live in surrey. got one lurcher at the moment and he only 10mnths so he not seen anythin yet. and a mate mine got a border x pup which will b used for digging nxt season on my permission and his. now if your still looking then to go out im sure can sort something out. i used have terrier bitch tht would bay for a lil and if didnt bolt thn came out, which was ideal for me when was out around on farm few years ago.but dont get me wrong im not some clued up person on digging. i have been on few digs etc but i just doing it all off my own back and learning by my self with couple of friends. got fed up looking and asking people all time, just thought it was time to get on with it. although i have friends that have moved away that used to do alot of digging but now fly birds. i tend to ring them if i have any problems. im between edenbridge and oxted. i have permission in surrey. suffolk area and warwwickshire too. but as im only ferreting at the moment foxes seem to be rising in numbers. i managed call 4 foxes into one field the other nyt in a few mins. but i want start getting into the digging more and my mate wnts his dog going next season. so think its alot better if you got group of you getting stuck in and learning more. pm me for any more info he is out of n.stevens and old nuttall lines .. got him of donny c of here !.. were abouts in surrey ?? .. yh me and my cuz will defently be interested to come out ! . thanks alot mate well appreciated ....
