auld salmon 28 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 (edited) well out this morning with the young punk usall time first few sets along a ditch with trees the thorny twats so put long nets out 2 of them first set 2 stinkers in then 1 bolted ramn along the trees then next 1 wouldnt bolt found it at 2 ft dug down out it came next set the same a 2ft dig then onwards about 10 holer rabbit seen me then back down but bolted a few mins later then lots of wee sets 3 or 4 holers 1 set bunny bolted & the young punk was resetting the net when i seen him sticking his hand down the hole then pulled a bunny out another set bunny seen me as it popped its head out and said it went back down so found it after a while 3ft so dug it took a bit of pulling out buy the back leg see the pic just missed a electric cable for the street lighting a few more wee sets then a 1 holer in middle of the fiel bang a bunny when netted it just sat there then heard another rumble from below found it at about 10 inches then it bolted there were some rushes so put longnets one side walked them but nowt when started to beat them a rabbit nearly jumped into longnet basket so had a better day 13 bunnys then started too snow on the way home also no feck thorns in my hands or knees Edited February 8, 2009 by auld salmon Quote Link to post
