Panna 68
Hi, My friend has a pure bred Border terrier brought from Blackpool in 2005. We would like to know who is the breeder and who are the relatives. Any help would be appriciated!! The dog was born in 28/10/2005 in Blackpool. It was the first litter, 2 males and 2 females, he was the last one taken, his name was/is Scruffy. At time the breeder only had a male and a female. I don't know if it helps, but his chip nr is: [deleted] The dog was sold to hungarians. If you just tell me where to keep searching for, that would be also appriciated! The dog is fine, and beloved, we would simply like to know more of him! Thank you very much in advance, Anna Edited February 7, 2009 by Panna
Guest SJM
I would delete the chip no, thats probably considered a security detail which only the owner should know? The most helpful info would be the KC names of the sire and dam, if you know them, you can look back through the BRS (Breed Records Supplement) which is released by the KC quarterly each year. This will tell you the KC names of the littermates and from there you could maybe make contact through the net or something like that?

Panna 68
Thank you! The point is that we do not know the name of the parents and the dog has no KC pedigree (actually has no pedigree at all). I did delete the chip number, thank you for the advise! Do you have any idea what is the way to find the breeder with these conditions? Thank you, Anna
Panna 68
nope, John, sadly no contact at all. Not even know his name - as the dog was sold right after it arrived to Hungary. My friend is the owner - but has no contact to the previous "owner" at all. Actually the only way is to find the breeder upon those infos. But we like challenges lol Anna
Guest SJM
If the dog isnt KC reg and you dont have any contact details for the breeder, that will make your search a bit harder, but good luck in your quest, maybe someone on here will know them?

lurchers 3,000
if you have no kc or pedigree papers then you stand no chance unless you no somebody who has a pup from the same litter who can tell you were the person lives as the breeder is the only person that can talk to the kennel club,if they have papers for the parents as the dog is probably still in there name if any papers at all.also the kennel club would not give you the breeders details without there say so even if you new the dogs kc name, its crap
Panna 68
if you have no kc or pedigree papers then you stand no chance unless you no somebody who has a pup from the same litter who can tell you were the person lives as the breeder is the only person that can talk to the kennel club,if they have papers for the parents as the dog is probably still in there name if any papers at all.also the kennel club would not give you the breeders details without there say so even if you new the dogs kc name, its crap Thank you mate! I only hope that a forum mate that knows a breeder (or owner) in Blackpool will ask about the dog. And if that wans't the breeder than he knows someone else to ask. It's very hard to arrange from Hungary (about 2000 kms), so the forum is the only solution I have. I know no one in Blackpool. Or maybe if someone has an idea what other forums to write to in order to get closer to the "suspected breeder". Has someone? Anna
Panna 68
How many habitants Blackpool has? Is that a big city? How many BT breeders may live there approx.? Anna
