jembo 0 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 The best stuff to use is Polyx oil made by Osmo. It is a natural finish that seals the timber on the first coat and then the second coat provides a good finish. It is not cheap, but if you only use beeswax you will get stains and movement in the timber. The Osmo stuff can be mopped and any scratches can be repaired easily.
