munty king 0
Hey there just wanted to know how different people condition there dogs? I know we are right in the middle of the season but do you just keep them fit from work or do you have a specific regime for specific quarry? I try and Lamp once or twice a week, I run them once a week in the daytime and then just give them genreal walks or a 5 mile bike ride at jogging pace once or twice a week. Currently my dogs are injured and cant run for a few weeks which is why I have the time to come on here! lol! I was sent a PM a few years back of how the coursing lads from the forley cup days used to get there dogs in shape but it got deleted (along with my username and password) when the site changed/updated. I have also just started to change there diet giving them more meat and vegetables rather than the complete mix they used to have, I also use Feramo vitimins, vitimin c, cider viniger and tomato to help reduce cramp. I also give them recharge electrolytes on busy days/nights. Let me know your secrets! lol! Quote Link to post
Ginny Spinner 455
I walk my dogs every day and try to get out lamping as much as possible. But when im not lamping i usually take the dog's on the push bike at a jogging pace. I also feed them on a mixture between Beta active, Pasta and raw beef. Quote Link to post
