shotgun licence

Recommended Posts

hi everyone. I am 14 and soon applying for my shotgun certificate, my dad is also applying at the same time. well on the back of the form it sais to give details of where the guns will be held and if any other certificate holders will be sharing the cabinet. we are not sure as to what to put because neither of us have a certificate yet but we will both use the same cabinet. if anyone can offer any advise it would be much appreciated.

It's probably quite common for two shooters in a family to share a cabinet. As you will both have access, then when you actually purchase a shotgun, it will have to go on both tickets. My son and I had each other's shot guns on both certificates for some years. When I upgraded to a coterminous FAC, and he couldn't be bothered, I had to get a rifle cabinet with ammo locker, which he cannot get into.
