littletimmy 71
Got this from a networking site, they must be worrying how low will they stoop I think we should be counteracting this with letters to MP's of our own as online petitions only go so far. I think ill be writing my own when i get a minute in work tomorrow. Here is what they private messaged me Sign up now to support the ban! Over the festive period, you may have read in the news of the increased numbers of people attending hunts. The League always said that if they took the cruelty out of hunting it would be more popular not less and the hunters refused to believe us. Sadly, across the country, a small number of live quarry hunting extremists are flouting the law and sticking two fingers up at the decent majority of people who abhor the cruelty of this bloodthirsty 'sport'. As you'd expect, the League Against Cruel Sports is working hard to ensure that the Hunting Act is enforced. Every week, we are providing evidence of illegal hunting to police forces across the country. Last week, we met with the Home Office minister responsible for policing in order to encourage him to force Chief Constables to take action. And now, we're asking MPs to support a motion in Parliament calling for better enforcement of the Hunting Act and need your help to get MPs signing the motion. Together with our campaign partners IFAW and the RSPCA, the League has asked MPs to table an Early Day Motion (number 481) which MPs can sign to show their support for the Hunting Act and call upon the authorities to better enforce the Act. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR MP ASKING HIM OR HER TO SIGN THE MOTION It’s quick and easy and will make a huge difference. Thanks for your support. League x
