Jayd 0
Hi all, Looking for opinions on which 4x4 would be best suited to my circumstances. I would need something that is a smallish engine (insurance and age purposes), need to carry 5 people (me, mrs, 3 kids), be reliable, and not too thirsty, although I know I'm looking for pretty much a lost cause with that one I'm not looking to buy one, I'm just wondering what people's views/opinions are? I know the Vitara's are smallish engines, but a friend who has one reckons they can be quite thirsty. I went in a Landy a few years ago, and there was 6 of us in that, it had the bench seats in, but I don't know much more other than it had a pretty big engine in it. It's just curiousity that has got me wondering, if it comes down to it, I'll probably end up with a Skoda 1.2 estate and forget the idea Cheers

Ratman2 2
200 or 300 TDi Disco, cheap as chips to buy, even cheaper to repair, fun to drive, not too bad on fuel, no contest.
Jayd 0
Whats your budget and economy expectation? Hi, Wouldn't be looking at spending more than a couple of grand if/when it comes to it. Economy, anything over 35 would be decent I suppose. Main limits for me are the engine size which is due to the insurance crippling at 21. Fancy the idea of a Landy, but the engine size is the down side. Maybe I'd be better off waiting for a couple years NCB. Don't worry about it too much, was only a curiousity question. Cheers for the other replies all.
