young_london_hunter 9 Posted January 19, 2009 Report Share Posted January 19, 2009 My mum has given to go ahead to get a dog, but i have a problem Although I would love a puppy i can't deal with one I don't think because i can't deal with all the no running for a year, the chewing, toilet training because i kind of need the dog to hit the ground running so to speak. Thanks in advance Tom Get a pup and go through the bonding and training, build up a relationship, not always guaranteed to get a good older one, for instance, why did the original owner get rid, are there hidden dangers, yes some are lucky but I'm a big believer in making my own dog, warts an all, they are my warts, not some others castoff. I would much prefer a pup but i think it will be too dificult. if you not up for a young pup get your self something about 6 mounth not to old that someone else has destroyed it allready but not to old to learn new tricks pritty fast. atleast you know if it not doing something right then it probably your failt & you will be able find out how to sort it out a lot easyer while it still young becouse its a lot harder to sort somthing out with a older dog than a young one. all the best in the future what ever dog you deside to get lad.
