The numbers talked about were 1500 birds in about 500 acres. Couple of questions, is that a sensible amount of birds for the land area Could you make a return on that acreage. Cheers 1500 ON 500 ACRE IN MY OPINION A BIT MANY,DEPENDS ON TERRAIN FOR HOLDING,IF ITS RIGHT AND FEEDS THERE,AND THERES NOTHING TO DISTURB THEM THEN THEY SHOULD HANG ABOUT.POULT PRICES VARY A BIT FROM £3.00/£4.50 PER BIRD GETTING THEM AT SIX WK OLD YOU COULD SAFELY SAY THEY WILL EAT 2 BAG O PELLETS A DAY TO 12WK,I NEVER TRY TO CHANGE MINE TO WHEAT TILL I SEE THE COCKS COLOURING UP,EXPECT TO PAY AROUND £.00 A TON FOR WHEAT.MYSELF AND A FRIEND ARE LOOKING FOR SHOOTING NEXT SEASON WHEREABOUTS ARE YOU,ARE YOU LOOKING FOR MORE FINANCIAL INPUT,WE ARE NEAR CASTLEDOUGLAS IN S/W SCOTLAND.
