boothy 0 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Share Posted January 17, 2009 i know someone who has a ten year old salukixcolliexgreyhound and it is probably the best dog i have ever seen out! it doesnt miss much at all, what i was wondering was how old have other people had lurcher that where still running and catching? whats the normall age to retire them. boothy 0 Posted January 18, 2009 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2009 i thaught that dogs just lost it after they hit aout ten. its good to hear that older dogs are still catching, my dad owned a deerhound cross and she was twelve when she retired. unfortunately she was running up a feild and hit a muddy patch and shatterd her full shoulder socket and was put to sleep Quote Link to post Share on other sites
