What you have to do is sample as many pellets as possible, whats good in my rifle is probably crap in yours and the other way around! find what ever gives you the most consistent groupings. Out of my S10 Bull Barrel I shoot Super fields or Bis Mags you really have to see which one will do the job the best good luck Quote Link to post

jamiethehunter 0 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Share Posted January 17, 2009 Whenever i have a new gun i get the pellpax sample pack and try all the pellets. I shoot five of each into a target to check the groupings and accuracy then i shoot them into an old telephone book to check for penetration. It's allways an interesting and fun test to do and at the end i know what suits the gun best. Quote Link to post

wilko 1 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Share Posted January 17, 2009 accupells or air arms field are very good. remember the hevier the pellet the harder they hit. but the quicker they drop. try and stay away from them cheap lead type pellets/ hustlers etc. find apellet thats the most accurate in your gun an stick with em.....
