Hare Snaring?

I'm looking to do a bit of snowshoe hare snaring in the next few weeks and was wondering if anybody has every done this. I've had a few tries but havent found the right size snare loop yet so if anyone has any suggestions for snare size.

just do every thing twice as bigger than you would if you were snaring rabbits it allways worked for me good look

use approx. a 9 inch loop and set higher around 8 inches to bottom of loop . your rabbit snares were set with a small loop in those snow holes , if out on open trails they need to be larger and set higher , or hang them from branches if going under brush. but keep part of the loop slightlyabove over lying branch to break up outline or chalk part of the loop.

Just remember......... that a trapped hare will make enough noise to wake the dead

Thanks ill try it when i get the chance, ill be snaring in an industrial zone full of empty fields and yards so the noise shouldn't be a problem
