lamp+battery 98 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 well went out the day on my new permission with my 6 month old pup and the ferrets for a look around the place,walked around for a few hours to see what it was like etc dident get much ferretin done but did do a few sets, 1st set bolted 1 into the net and missed a sly bolt hole were 2 came runnin out at the same time the pup seen them and ran after them but missed, never mind as they were the 1st live rabbits she had seen, so off to the next set netted up put the ferrets in, plenty ov thumpin goin on dog was standin over the hole where i put the ferret in and 2 mins later rabbit in the net dog held it till i got there,i was buzzin as she has never worked with ferrets befor and looks as if she had done it for years, so took her into the field with it to give her a run at it and can say she did realy well on it, so off we went to next set last 1 ov the day nice little 6 holer netted up but left 2 holes uncoverd for the pup, waited 10 mins 1 kept popin its head out the hole what had a net on so i decided to take the net off, 5 min`s later bang it jumps out and runs over the field pup seen it and off she went half way over the field bang got it wasent expectin that, brings it back lovely tail waggin verry pleased with her couldent falt her in any way at all so lookin forward to next month as i will give her a few weeks off dont want to spoil her, any way here is a few pic`s ov the day thanks for readin lb Quote Link to post
