Does anyone shot rifle but not shotgun??

Came back into shooting a short time ago, always entered the game with the intention of getting the FAC. Used a SC as a way in and shot both side by side for a fair number of years.

 

After unrelated injury I'm back, but have only got back my FAC, thought the shotgun, at least 12g would not be suitable, kick/recoil etc. Am now really missing the oportunity that only a shotgun can give, you know the stuff, squirels in the rearing pens, doves in the barn, and of course the woody at 45 degs above your head in the boundary tree.

 

Question as in title, but I feel a nice little 20bore sa or .410 coming on.

 

Can I obtain a 5 shot .410 on FAC without a SC???

you could but need to put across why you want it. i havent seen many 410 shotguns in fac

There are a couple of Semi auto .410's that are FAC rated knocking about and the human despatch pistols in .410 of course.

 

You can indeed have a .410 on FAC, if you can justify the need for the extra few shots and what you intend to shoot with it. The majority of high capacity Shotguns, will be used for Vermin control, which normally entails shooting many thousands of Rabbits.
