boon, i think you will find that you can have your first licence at 15 but you must be supervised with a full licence holder over the age of 18.

no [bANNED TEXT] you can have a lisence at any age but you have to bee supervised if you are UNDER 15 but if you are ofer 15 you can go out on your own.......

i had mine last year and my father asked and the FAO said that if you are over 15 you can tajke the gun out on your own..... BUT recomender that i was supervised for a while first till i get more experiance.......

happy hunting

i find its better going lamping on your own because u can use tactics such as 1 person shines the lamp on the bunny from 1 angle then the other person sneaks up on it from mabey 90 degrees then you both can have a shot ;)

i just wouldnt do it.

with the great british weather, we never know when the wind is gonna drop completely off. Like many a nights i have been out.

The windiest nights we seem to get up here are between 3/4 waxing moon & 3/4 waning moon

I'd assume that the noise from the shotty would put a lot of rabbits away, even on the windiest of nights. I could be wrong.

Unless of course you are using a silencer

when we go lamping we usually take the shotty and the rifle for when the foxes come in close enough, had them run right in and the 243 just went straight thorugh from then on the shotgun has allways come with us

if your lamping with 2 people stick together!! Splitting up at night will mean someone could be in danger of getting shots and even the most experienced make mistakes or accidents happen!!!

When i lamp i do shotgun off the front of the landy(in the wheel) or if we are .22ing them and i'm picking up i insist the rifle is in the vehicle unless i'm touching it at some point!!

Have rule and when someone pulls the trigger make sure your together.......if they can't stick by the rules you set don't go out............you'll have more fun if your not dead!!!

The only time i split up is when we're with the dogs!!!
