here he is at about 7 and a bit months old, he's grown an inch since then, he stands 27in to the shoulder

need to get some better pics, im a crap photographer, lol, but i am getting better

he would be 8.5-9 months old maybe, caught his first bunny about 2 months ago, on the lamp

basically we had been driving around, the other dog stayed at home that night, he was not so keen on getting out(deerhound had a few runs the night before on fox and larger game, and chased bunnies in the morning)

anyway the dogs had been out that afternoon to and had a big run, my boy had ran to but lost sight of the race(high grass/bushes) and had returned to where he got off the ute(do your dogs have homing abilities like this guys???)

so we went for a night run with my roodog, driving around, he had a chase on some bigger game, but lost it again in the thick grass, so on the ute he went, we get to a corner of a paddock and see this bunny, i had a shot at it but missed(im gonna blame the long grass again lol, nah actually he moved at the last moment) so i thought f**k it, i'll let the dog off, he might miss as its not far from the fence but shit happens

anywya he seen the rabbit, took off after it, the rabbit bolted for the corner of the fence, but he cut it off and pushed it out into the paddock where he nailed it quite nicely.

anyway was most happy about that, he thought it was a bit of alright to

have nto had him out since, he was still such a puppy, his attitude has changed a fair bit in the last month, hes more serious now, still a puppy but i reckon he's ready for a look at the big ones

yeah a bit bigger in size then what you boys are all using, i know some of you run big dogs but isnt the general ideal size over there 24inches?

he should do alright, my mate has a cousin to this dog, and he had his uncle before that, we got all 3 dogs from different ppl to, so hows that for a line that gets around

as far as i know there is nothing but sighthound in him, his coat looks a bit strange, with the mask, neither parents had the marking, the mother was a dark black, with yellow undercoat, the male was a yellow, with white paws and white tip to tail, the mother was more of the leaner type, the father was more solid, more to the wolfhound you could say i guess

the line if i remember right started in queensland and was brought over here by the guy and his dad, his dad started the line, hes had them over here for 25 years, they go back further in queensland tho, quite a few years(i think it may of been 60 years all up but dont quote me on it)

his uncle was a great dog, his drive, and attitude you could not fault, best running dog ive ever known, sadly died after having a really long run one hot day, he was ok after a hour, and seemed to bounce back to nromal, but as the weeks went on he got sick

his cousin, who would not be too much older then him, maybe 12 months is a pretty full on dog, shes only 25inches to the shoulder, but is quite solid, and never does things by halfs, straight in and seems smart about it to, i always knew she'd be like that, she'd play fight with all the other dogs and always go in head and all heart first lol, but she would then hide behind something the dogs couldnt get to her from and then as soon as they turned their backs, wham it was on again

she to has a great nature
