Fat-Ferret 857
I read about Ferrets liking this stuff, So I got a small bottle to try, I put a drop on my hand tonight and let the ferrets out of their cub to have a run around the garage, they went mental!! All 4 of them licking my hand and following it wherever I moved, I had them up in there back legs as well! I came out to the garage a few more times through the evening and each time I gave them a little drop through the wire they went mad, The last time I went in tonight to lock up they started going crazy round the cage, there usually well tucked up at this time and nothing would wake them, they must enjoy it! Good to see them happy! Its supposed to be good for their coats etc, I wont give them too much though....Keep them enjoying it. Quote Link to post
wigan 0
cant seem to get around here these days have asked for it everywhere used to give it to ferrets years ago they love the stuff once got a polecat off someone that had never handled it and just threw food in its cage it was really aggressive and couldnt be handled without gloves at first as it would really bite you to bits but my lad managed to train it using ferretone and turned out to be a very good worker Quote Link to post
SwissTony 0
Olive oil is a very good substitute. Ferretone can be bought of companions choice of ebay. Just remember not to give them to much as it has a lot of vitamin A (I think) 3-5 drops a day per ferret is more than enough. Not sure if this is the same for olive oil or not.
