I have thought about it in the past, and it never came to anything. But now im thinking about getting back into longnetting, and would fancy using Nightvision alongside the longnets, so i am not wasting my time setting the nets if there is nothing out feeding. also i would use it for other reasons :D to lets say, save the battery power on the lamp when im out with the dogs :D

I seen this on ebay, and wondering if it would be any good? I dont need anything too special.

How far could i see with this particual N.V?

the one you have seen on ebay is basically a bresser gen1, lidl`s sell them for £110 this time of year.. ive looked through a few & for the money there not too bad..

first thing to ask is, what is your budget ? , because when it comes to nv equipment you get what you pay for...

you could put a ir filter on your lightforce & it would increase the range conciderably, but then you have to lug a lamp & battery round aswell.. & filters aernt cheap, there £95 or so, your best bet is to get some ir sheeting & cut it into place to put over the lamp if your going to go down that road, about £20 for a few sheets..

your best bet is a yukon digital ranger, they are the nuts & you cant fault them...
