reynardhunter 3
Brought misty back to the vet today, he gave her another injection to help the cartilidge around th bone to heal up properly, he also gave me powder to give her with her food for two weeks, this is also to help the joint knit properly, he reckons shes not out of the woods yet but shes coming on well, he told me to let her take it easy and not to let her run around as she can easily hurt herself again, he never mentioned her tail but i,d say it will have to be removed because it seems completely dead any way we,ll see w2hat happens in the coming weeks Quote Link to post

That's what my best whippet recently had for a broken elbow + 'strike' powders. It apparently promotes growth in the cartilage. I went to Brian Jones in Newry for him when his lameness (even with crate rest) persisted for a couple of weeks. Hope she gets better mate, my whippet is still hobbling around after 10 weeks now, but at least now he looks like he may get better. Dave Quote Link to post
