macca 83 Posted December 30, 2008 Report Share Posted December 30, 2008 i was at the auction 2 year ago when first edition number one with original sketches by nigel lynn was for sale i bid £2000 for it but it went to a telephone buyer for£2200, i was interested in it because i own the original bronzes in the book by nigel of two greyhounds coursing a hare , have a look at them under sculptures i also have a few oils by him, he book is a very good read by the way Link to post Share on other sites

"Rare book!!! very rare book" Yes, ask yourself why. Because no one bought it that's why. I gave mine away after about a month. High on romance, low on information. After reading it I thought it had been written by Barbara Cartland and published by Mills & Boon This book should be banned. More people have died of boredom after reading it than died in the last major 'flu pandemic.
