Guest ferret feller Posted December 29, 2008 Report Share Posted December 29, 2008 recently i did some falconary and i loved it it was an incredible buzz too be working with a pritty much wild bird of prey ..... as soon as it flew off my glove i think i was hooked straight too a tree.... followed me through the wood chased a squirrel i ran headlong into a ditch in pursuit fell flat on my face but i loved it non the less didnt catch anything but it was a huge buzz just being there with the bird..... now i flew a harris hawk and the man told me they are an excellant bird for a beginner.... so i have convinced mum too me building a "mews" in a corner of the garden.... now i am wondering if there is any local falcon lads.. i know there is one in oswestree but its far..... mabey give me some tips there will be a cup of tea and mabey a few biscuits in it for you? and me taking you on some brill permission for rabbits in shrewsbury? well its in shrewsbury my house.... so drop me a pm and give me some words of wisdom all the best ff Quote Link to post

You have almost already told everybody where you live, and where your bird will be staying!! Your going the right way to having it stolen straight away, just keep low. Guest ferret feller Posted January 3, 2009 Report Share Posted January 3, 2009 chears mate i have harris hawks at college that i have flown once awsome creatures.... also from my window now i can see 4 magpies and 6 squirrels so id have the sport just need the bird.... how maney times a week does the bird need to fly? how much on avarge (i know its to do with wieght) does a male harris eat? thanks Quote Link to post
