berwickshire hunt

thanks to those who helped me find a hunt to go to on boxing day. i attended the berwickshire hunt as they got ready to ride out. i took the kids along as they have never seen this before they loved it. my 3 year old daughter was in the middle of the hounds and she got quite attached to a hound called surgeon, who stayed close into her until the horn was blown. my wife was very jealous as she used to hunt but she cant ride now due to her MS but was happy to join in. there was only 1 downside to the day as 1 of the hounds was hit a car and the driver didnt even stop. the hound was hit at a high speed as it was the A1, it did get up and run on all fours i will give them a call tomorow just to check. had a great day and got some good photos will try and upload them even bumped into a lady whose farm i control the pigeons on small world. now looking forward to new years day for my next 1

Sounds like you had a lovely day & what an experience for the kids , glad they loved it as well, hope the dogs ok though
