whin 463 Posted December 25, 2008 Report Share Posted December 25, 2008 saw allsorts kill foxes saluk type collie type bull types never saw any better than other realy, saw a dog sid i had bred for m a greyhound called macnamaras band kill them stone dead before you got there sometimes, saluki hybrid but looke like a strong greyhound very powerfull and fast killed three was my most as we dont get foxes localy all shot by keepers in most place,s the dog ,he was not bred for foxes but dished them out another luke a colli type i had, killed them at a year old and until he died 7 years roughly , saw bull crosses kill them two , bets drawing dog i saw was buul type real nice gentle dog until it was his time to pull them out but not overl fast so maybe not the best on fast land with big slips Quote Link to post

whin 463 Posted December 25, 2008 Report Share Posted December 25, 2008 never heard of a small whippet type being good fox dog i had a brindle greyhound bitch who would kill draw a fox she was savage was a tough bitch i gave it to a grouse keeper he was impressed with her two a real hard nut first fox i gave her she crunched it in no time atoll , never let out pain even when she broke her toe as i cut the toe back i should had bred of her but had two many on at the time ,but a real dog ,good feet and caut roe hares and foxes , a bit suspect if any dog wanted to mix it got pics of her here if i had a scanner i would put pics up Quote Link to post
