badgeroy 3
Thanks for all the replies chaps, i've been ferreting about 15 years now sometimes using collars other times not , i normally put the strap through the buckle first, never normally have problems other than wriggling but this one i held her by the scruff and she still managed to get her head round to bite. Have been handling her daily but as said stopped the nipping even since she has been ok, just the one off i hope. Quote Link to post
Malt 379
My albino Jill was a bugger for nipping, no matter how much I handled her. Some days she'd be as good as gold, but then all of a sudden she'd turn round one day and rip my bloody hand to bits. I even had the air rifle loaded ready for her one day, but couldn't bring myself to do it, as she's a good worker. When she had kits last summer, she seemed to calm right down. I'm not sure if it was due to me handling her more, as I was handling the kits, but then I wasn't shy with the handling before she had the kits. She's as gentle as a lamb now, unless you're a rabbit, and I'm so glad that I didn't do the dirty deed that I was so close to doing! Poppy in action. Last winter you could have put my hand where that rabbit is! Quote Link to post
