JED CLAMPETT 4 Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 I am putting together a trip to the the bijagos islands { fly in via the gambia } in march 09. We have just returned and had fantastic popper fishing for Jacks and leerfish ,plus a few snappers. Tarpon to 85kg on baits , cobia , sharks and Barracuda till we got bored of them. 27 species for the week. It will be 10 days and we will be mostly boat fishing , although we will have a couple of days walking the beaches and sandbars . We can only take 10 anglers , and we already have 4 , so if you are interested PM me asap. The vertical jigging was also pretty special with Jacks , snappers and somethings we juat couldnt stop , probably groupers .
