pointer 543
I do a fair bit of air-rifle shooting mostly on rats but dont consider myself a serious airgunner. Id been asked to try and clear some of the rabbits from a large field used for grazing a few ponies.I think they had ferreting in mind but im not very keen on ferreting with nets and anyway crawling around in hedgerows getting nettled isnt my idea of fun.As it turned out id been given a tin of air-arms pellets off a mate and after spending a few minutes checking zero on friday ive been going over there every night and shooting between two and four rabbits before our pony is brought into the stable.I havent had time to go for a proper session but theres less rabbits about now and another week should see the amount at an acceptable level. Ive always used rws superdomes but i like these air arms things. Quote Link to post

pointer 543
Tonight i went out with the young lurcher to give it a few runs but before leaving the pig farm i thought id try the pellets out on the rats.I really like these air arms things.Im not one for trying out new bits of gear, guns or pellets but every now and then something comes my way that just seems to work well.
