Llanshooter 0
I've just got into pigeon shooting through a mate and have got to say, although it may be the novelty at the moment, that I am enjoying it more than the driven pheasant I'm doing too. Maybe I'm just too common for pheasant. Anyway I've had a go at making my own deeks and although not bad I think its not worth the hassle. Now I need to get my own hide materials together. Have got canes/poles and some clips and cord to tie up to trees , branches etc. My queston is :- a where is the best place to but camo material for hides (ebay is full of the stuff but some of it looks scrappy surplus stuff)? b is the die cut "Realtree" type stuff as good or better than the traditional camo netting? Llanshooter 0
At first glance that looks ridiculously cheap - I'll be on the phone tomorrow!!!! Cheers Interested to get some feedback on question B though Quote Link to post
brno17 5
the realtree die cut nets are ok, i've used them but theyre not very strong. my best advice is to buy a stealth 2 ply net which gives full coverage all round you unlike army nets that can be patchy, i got mine from decoying.co.uk but cant recommend them as i waited weeks for it to arrive so you should probably try elsewhere. ive used one all summer and they are the muts nuts, think they are about 35 quid just now but you only buy it once. hope this helps.
