patterdale moocher 10 Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 lurcher picked up an injury while running a rabbit 3 weeks ago on closer inspection i noticed she had broken a nail on her back foot. So i put her on the lead straight away as she was holding it up. I gave it a good clean with salt water and rested her. She was holding her foot up for 2 weeks so i let her rest when she started putting her foot down again i started a bit of road work for a week and she was walking on it fine but yesterday i gave a couple of runs on rabbits and after the third she was holding her foot up again so i will rest her again-anyone else had similar problems with nails Quote Link to post
victor 10 Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Posted November 25, 2008 not nails. but my dog landed on his funny and didnt walk on it i rested him straight away waiting for the ferret to come out and i carryed him back to the car n went hime. next 2 days we were out again and he's fine.
