f-c 0 Posted December 14, 2008 Report Share Posted December 14, 2008 the only ones I would eat off there would be the blue stalks (blewits) - cook them in bacon fat, add milk and flour, salt and perrper to make a white sauce and serve on toast with cooked bacon on top. Love them, but watch out sometimes thay have little maggots in them - my dad used to eat them regardless based on the theory that 'thay have only been eating mushroom, so they are made of mushroom!'
