Fat-Ferret 857
Hope you all had a better day than I did, Just back from ground Ive taken 18 rabbits in two days from.....today, 0 - Young poley messing from the off, first set, the new locator confirmed she had cornered some, down 15/20 mins and then refusing to leave the entrance of the hole, running back down when I tried to lift her, Next hole, same again, another 45 mins, finally got her out, claws stuffed with fur, this went on all day, at times the locator would show her moving about, then she would stop 15/20 and not move....Nightmare day, not helped by not being allowed to dig on the ground. The other young albino seems to work ok, But I dont think shes running deep enough, shes out and in every 30 seconds and never shifted anything when I worked her on her own as I got too fed up with Miss Poley! Hopefully things wil improve. FF Quote Link to post

The one 8,589
shame i reckon a good quarter of my bag comes from digging them out Quote Link to post
Fat-Ferret 857
Yeah, we could have dug whatever he cornered, But we cant, Its the only permission I have and I want to try and hold onto it, we missed one or two from holes we didnt net, But other than that, the poley seemed to corner everything.... How long would you expect a ferret to stay down, average? FF Quote Link to post
Coatesy900 0
when you dont have a locator like me, you cant dig. my fert always manages to come up with blood all over his face, and it takes up to an hour on large sets to resurface, so perhaps i should invest in one.
