I'd imagine a boozer somewhere near newcastle, that way it'd incompass, northumberland and places a bit further down too!!!!!

Plus it'd be nice and close for me....... :drink::drink::drink:

So any other suggestions about what you'd like to get from a club???

I'm starting to knock together a website, just to get the ball rolling and then as we get a few members on board, we can look to getting a better site done that'll be just for members!!!

The bring a friend day and child days would be good, plus i'm sure we can get days put on to be raffled off on a night down the boozer, or through the club site!!!

So lets have any more ideas you've got????

Top idea starting an internet forum :clapper: should help get the ball rolling, its a really good idea, and I will keep an eye on this thread and join up once it starts, being new to owning a lurcher, this could benefit me no end, good luck with it mate, atvb Richard

So what do people think is a reasonable membership fee???

I was thinking of £5 a year??? Obviously it'll need feedback from people that are interested in joining, but i'd be happy to pay that for membership????

il join mybe tad more than a £5 you might get people joining well not for the right resons ?

and alternate the monthly meets around north east to make it fair for other people also my be do day meets rather than pub meets

i dont im waffaling on a bit so al stop .

Maybe have quarterly meets for a social drink would be easier, and alternate them in different areas of the north east?? the forum i'm doing will have an invite section, which will give people the chance to offer invites of days nights out in the field!!!

Membership wise i reckon a fiver for single membership and a tenner for family maybe?? will depend on what people think is reasonable really!!!!

I think we need to be realistic in the fact that you're never gonna keep antis and the like out, but we'll just have to get rid of them as they crop up!!!!

Also they might not be so keen when they have to do it face to face!!!!

If you can find a lump of land somewhere to cater for tent's or caravan's on a quartely basis around your chosen spot for the meet..for the lad's/lasses and dog's im sure you would get a good gathering.. ..that way the long distance travelling folk would not have to worry about getting home the same day after a piss up and chin wag..
