lavrockhall 2
Some of the top breeders of the day, used Levi Oakes stud dogs for outcross, Parkes ,Nuttall, and dare i say it Booth. Its testament to the quality of these Borders in my humble opinion .lavrock Quote Link to post

Guest warren
Hi all. If the inoformation I have is true then I still have a tad of R.W. Simmy left in my line of unrgersterd Borders. I say Borders but in truth they started out as Parky stuff and I have bred from Borders for a good few years now. My earlier Terriers (J.P. stuff) were as good as I ever had for digging but if I told you that my present Terriers are as good, then I would be lieng to you and kidding myself. I can trace my Terriers back to J.Ps 'Bingo, Tina and Rocky. My present Terriers would not suite any 'bygone' dedicated digging men but they suite me because all I need now are fox 'bolting' dogs.
