One easy way to resize pictures is in ms

"paint" its in start/all programes/accessories/paint

 

if you right click your picture, you have the

option to open in "paint" as well.

 

You then goto the top and click image/ stretch:skew

and change the properties of the image there . If you

change the % to 50, it will be half the size.

 

 

It might be best to make a copy of the picture you

want to edit, so as not to make the origanal smaller

which will affect it if you want to print it later.
